What this website learns about you, and what it does with it.
What this page covers
This is the privacy notice for the Prefer Solutions website at prefersolutions.com. It describes what the site learns about you, which is very little, and what we do with it. The planner itself — the software a team uses after a walkthrough — has its own account terms, given in writing before an account is opened. Last updated 28 September 2026.
The form
The walkthrough form asks for your name, an email address, the kind of place you run, roughly how many people are on a week, where in Ireland you are, and a message. We ask for those six things because they are what we need to reply usefully and to say early if we are not a fit. The form is relayed to our mailbox, [email protected], by the form service FormSubmit; the message passes through that service on its way to us and is not stored on this website. We keep the email in our mailbox while the conversation lasts and for a sensible while after it ends, and then delete it.
What your browser holds for us
Answer the cookie notice and a single preference lands in your browser's own storage (the key is ps_rota_pref); that is what stops the notice returning. It holds your answer and the time you gave it, nothing else. No script on this site reads that value for any other purpose today, because no analytics or advertising tool is installed — the "analytics and performance" switch records your answer for the day one might be, and it is off unless you turn it on. Cookies of the site's own making: none.
Outside requests
The two typefaces on these pages are loaded from Google's font service, which receives the ordinary details of a request for a font file: the address the request came from and the browser making it. That is the only request the site makes to anyone but its own server.
Selling data
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we show no advertising. This is true of the website and of the planner.
Getting in touch about any of it
Write to [email protected]. That address reaches the same people who read the form.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask for it in a portable form, and object to our processing of it. Californian residents can additionally ask what personal information we hold, have it deleted, opt out of any sale (nothing is sold, so there is nothing to leave), and expect the same service afterwards as before — asserting a right changes nothing about how we treat you. In every case the way to exercise a right is an email to [email protected]; we reply within the time the relevant law allows, and usually much sooner, since the data in question is almost always one form submission.
Children
The site and the planner are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen, and a form submission that appears to come from a child is deleted.
Changes
If anything on this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything that would materially alter what we collect would be written here before it happened, not after.
