Terms of use

Short, plain, and governed by the law of Ireland.

What the site is for

prefersolutions.com describes the Prefer Solutions rota planner and lets you ask for a walkthrough of it. Using the site means agreeing to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it. Last updated 28 September 2026.

A form is a question, not a contract

Sending the walkthrough form asks us a question. It does not open an account, book a time, or create any obligation on either side. An account on the planner is opened only under its own written account terms, agreed after the walkthrough.

Acceptable use

Use the site as a person interested in a rota planner would. Do not send the form automatically, in bulk, or with content that is unlawful, abusive or someone else's. Leave the site's workings alone: no probing, no interference, no wholesale copying. We may block traffic that does any of those things.

Intellectual property

The words, the layout, the marks and the code of this site belong to Prefer Solutions. The photographs belong to their creators and are used under the licences named below. You may read, print and link to the pages; you may not republish them as your own.

Liability, limited

What you read here is offered as it stands. We take care over what it says, but we make no promise that every line is complete or error-free, and a decision you take on the strength of it is your own; we accept no liability for loss that follows from relying on the site. Nothing on it is advice about employment, pay or working time; the what it does not do page says so at length. Where the law of Ireland says a particular liability cannot be excluded, these terms do not exclude it.

Which law applies

Irish law governs these terms, and the Irish courts settle any dispute about them.

Revisions

These terms can change; when they do, the date on this page moves with them, and carrying on using the site after that date is acceptance of the new wording.
